Lisa’s active lifestyle and career in movement arts helped her get back on her feet and do what she loves.
Randy is one of the top realtors in the Palm Desert area and a dedicated racquetball player. Showing houses has required Randy to constantly be on his feet, and on the move. After a struggle with arthritis, Randy went through a dual hip replacement surgery and is now back to his normal pace. He enjoys playing racquetball alongside showing homes each week.

Robin was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when she was 21 years old. Since then, she’s had double knee replacements and double hip replacements and one revision. Recovery wasn’t always a smooth ride, and there were often setbacks due to infections and accidental injuries in-between surgeries. Despite these challenges, Robin says that she’s never looked back and hopes that sharing her story helps bring comfort to others.
Dick had robotic-assisted knee replacements on each knee within the same year. He originally put his procedures off because he didn’t want to have a long recovery time and relied on cortisone shots to mitigate the pain until his daughter showed him a video of him crab crawling up the stairs because it was too difficult to walk. Post-surgery, Dick was able to go home the same day and was able to drive within three weeks of surgery. He says that having his knees replaced was the best thing he ever did.
Kylie is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) with 8+ years of experience specializing in orthopedic (pre/post operation) nutrition, bariatrics, weight loss, diabetes/diabetes prevention, and improving cardiometabolic profile. She suffered her own ankle injury, fracturing both her tibia and fibula and requiring surgical fixation. This experience afforded Kylie increased understanding of the surgical journey and helped develop her passion for educating patients on the importance of nutrition for optimal healing and recovery. She loves the outdoors and being active as possible: hiking, skiing, biking, running, and swimming.
